As a performer and composer he has performed and / or recorded with Ira Sullivan, Joe Lavono, Jimmy Cobb, Steve Swallow, Placido Domingo, John Abercrombie, Jim Hall, Steve Kuhn, Eddie Daniels, Roland Hanna and the Metropolitan Opera.

Lou Pappas
Bassist Lou Pappas’ career encompasses both Jazz and Classical music. He is the principle bassist of the Hudson Valley Philharmonic. His jazz work includes performances with such jazz greats as David Liebman, Byron Stripling, James Williams, Claire Fischer, Randy Brecker, Billy Cobham, and Steve Turre.
