The Jim Donica Trio is Jim Donica on bass, Peter Einhorn on guitar, and Matt Garritty on drums.

Jim has played and recorded with some of the finest jazz musicians in the world including: Peter Erskine, Maynard Ferguson, Randy Brecker, David Becker and many others. He has led and co-led jazz groups such as Urban Survival with pianist Eric Olsen and drummer Chris Bowman.

Also, The Jim Donica Quartet recorded "A Heroic plan" with Frank Kimbrough, Tim Horner and Tim Armacost on Apria records as well as his debut record called Stepping Up featuring Bruce Barth-piano Peter Erskine drums, Randy Brecker-trumpet.

Guitarist Peter Einhorn is well known to Woodstock jazz fans. Cadence magazine says: "Einhorn can play a lot of guitar, however, he concentrates on fine group play and his precise and varying articulate solos. I've enjoyed this date more each time I've heard it."

Drummer Matt Garrity has been on the NYC jazz scene since 1994 and continues to be the go to guy when you want a drummer who swings his ass off and has the sensitivity to serve the musical moment at hand. He has played with Vincent Herring, Percy Jones, Joel Forrester, Ron Mclure and on and on. His ongoing Barnstock music series has added to the richness of the Woodstock arts scene.
